Dr. stephen Romaniello
Assistant Research Scientist
I am an isotope geoscientist with a background in biogeochemistry, oceanography, mathematical modeling, and instrument design/development. As an Assistant Research Scientist, I manage both the W.M. Keck Foundation Laboratory and the Isotope Cosmochemistry and Geochronology Laboratory at ASU, both of which perform high-precision isotopic measurements of a wide range of materials and elements. In this role, I help to supervise and training of more than 15 graduate students and post-docs and work with dozens of outside collaborators. I am also the Science Coordinator for the ASU PlanetWorks Initiation which focuses on meeting the sciences and policy challenges required to ensure a thriving Anthropocene, including climate, energy, food, and water systems.
